BACKGROUNDFast and non‐destructive determination of rapeseed protein content carries significant implications in rapeseed production. This study presented the first attempt of using Fourier transform mid‐infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy (FTIR‐PAS) to quantify protein content of rapeseed.
