In this paper, two kinds of observer-based sensorless predictive torque control methods are proposed. The predictive method is based on examining feasible voltage vectors (VVs) in a prescribed cost function. The VV that minimizes the cost function is selected. A novel robust prediction model is presented. The prediction model includes sliding mode feedbacks. The feedback gains are assigned by the...
In this paper, a strategy for the control of voltage-source inverter-fed induction machines is proposed. The method uses a sensorless predictive algorithm to implement the torque control. With the sliding mode full-order observer the flux and speed are estimated, which are applied in the Model Predictive Controller. The experimental results are presented.
In this paper two methods of torque control for induction motor have been investigated. First DTC method is implemented by using PI regulators and three-level inverter. Then an improved predictive torque control is developed and performed with two-level inverter. In the proposed predictive control the next torque and flux are predicted by discrete model of motor and inverter. Afterward the feasible...
In this paper an improved FCS-MPC algorithm with optimized weighting factor is presented. The main goal is reducing the torque ripples for the two-level inverter utilization. The weighting factor is optimized based on dividing the control interval in two parts. The method is validated by simulations and experiments.
Biomedical signals are always corrupted with different noises and interferences. Power Line Interference (PLI) is one of the most important interferences which decreases the quality of the biomedical signals significantly. In this paper, a novel adaptive Laguerre filter with fuzzy step size is proposed to eliminate the PLI from Electromyography (EMG) signals. The proposed Laguerre filter has the benefits...
In this paper two methods of torque control for induction motor have been investigated. First, DTC method is implemented by using complete voltage vectors of the matrix converter. Second, an improved predictive torque control is developed and performed with two-level inverter. In the proposed predictive control the next torque and flux are predicted by discrete model of motor and inverter. Afterward...
This paper proposes a control algorithm to compensate current harmonics and reactive power simultaneously in series active power filters combined with passive shunt filters. Imposing load current to have the same level of distortion as the source voltage for harmonics compensation and to its phase for reactive power compensation is performed. Approximately unity power factor can be attained without...
