In the present paper, the beam-wave interaction behavior in the gyro-TWT amplifier has been studied using time dependent nonlinear single-mode analysis. The time dependent equations of motion which describes the interaction of the electrons with the RF wave are solved self-consistently for the performance evaluation of a typically selected fundamental mode 35GHz gyro-TWT amplifier operating at TE01...
In this paper, beam-wave interaction analysis in a Ka-band periodically ceramic loaded gyrotron traveling-wave tube (gyro-TWT) amplifier is investigated using particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation. The simulations predict that the interaction structure can produce more than 80-kW output power, 50-dB saturated gain, and 3-dB bandwidth is 2.56 GHz for 65 kV and 5-A electron beam with velocity ratio ...
MILO has been analyzed for its beam wave interaction and the RF released energy has been calculated. The analytical results are obtained, typically, for a S-band MILO, and released RF energy is found as 2.5 Joule at 300 kV applied voltage. The analytical results has also been validated through PIC simulation code MAGIC and found to be in close agreement.
In this paper the study of electron bunching in the output cavity of gyroklystron has been carried out to optimize the output efficiency of gyroklystron by numerically solving the coupled equations obtained from nonlinear analysis, describing the strong interaction between the beam and RF fields in the output cavity of the gyroklystron. The generalized results obtained here can be applied to optimize...
