A wideband class AB (push-pull) current amplifier realised with only ten MOS devices is described which provides very low input resistance, good large signal behaviour and large bandwidth. Detailed analysis of the proposed circuit is presented. The two amplifier circuits composed of simple and cascode current mirrors are simulated and their performance characteristics compared.<<ETX>>
