An optical frequency-interleaving full-duplex transmission of 96-GHz-band frequency-modulated continuous-wave downlink signal and 10-Gb/s on-off-keying uplink signals is investigated. The proposed full-duplexing transmission with a flexible wavelength channel selector over 10-km fiber-optic link is experimentally demonstrated.
We present a high-speed and low-latency seamless fiber-millimeter-wave system for future mobile front-haul networks. The bidirectional transmission of a downlink interband and an uplink intraband carrier aggregation LTE-A signal over the system is successfully demonstrated.
An optical frequency-interleaving full-duplex technique for fiber-optic transmission of 96-GHz-band frequency-modulated continuous-wave downlink signal and 10-Gb/s on-off-keying uplink signal is newly proposed. The proposed full-duplexing technique with a flexible wavelength channel selector is experimentally demonstrated.
