In this work, the authors consider the problem of digital modulation classification in a multipath channel using the cumulant-based method based on the received baseband signal. An asynchronous fourth-order cumulant based modulation classifier is proposed by using the single input multiple output (SIMO) model which is formed by the wide-sense cyclostationary of the received baseband signal of linear...
The data exchanged in smart substation is based on communication. Most of time, the test about measure value and status information are open-loop, all the SV packets and MMS packets are only recorded and do not take comparison analysis. A new method about the closed-loop test including the process layer, bay layer and station layer of smart substation is presented. The SV and GOOSE packet in process...
With the increase of pulse density, signal sorting becomes extremely difficult for modern electronic reconnaissance, especially for pulse-compression radar signals. Blind source separation (BSS) is a new developed technology for separating signals from mixed observed data. In this paper, we propose various instantaneous mixing models of pulse-compression radar signals, including linear frequency modulation,...
Signal sorting of low probability of interception (LPI) radar signals is extremely important in electronic support measurement (ESM) systems. Usually, there are multipath interferences in the intercepted signals, which result in the decrease of signal sorting performance of conventional methods. In this paper, we present a local ambiguity function (AF)-based signal sorting method for multipath fading...
Combat is a typical complex adaptive system, the traditional battle simulation depends on the mathematical model, will be operational as a deterministic process, it is difficult to combat in the process of modeling many intangible factors. Artificial Life simulation methods, through the multi-agent interaction between the research systems of the emergent, well reveal the nature of combat and combat...
An improved iterated Kalman filter (IKF) is proposed to reduce the sensitivity of the filter to the initial estimate error. According to the essence of the IKF, i.e., the Gauss-Newton method is used to approximate a maximum likelihood estimate, a new update method is obtained. Simulations show that the improved IKF has better performance than the IKF when the initial estimate error is large.
In this paper, the efficiency of speculative market incorporating new information into price is analyzed and discussed. The GJR-GARCH model is modified to capture the effect of information disseminating speed on the conditional volatility of stock index returns. Different empirical results have been gotten when the new model is applied to Shanghai Shcomp and Dow Jones indices. It is indicated that...
Based on analyzing the principle of wireless navigation positioning, the geometrical dilution of precision is calculated. Using the optimal estimate principle, the geometrical dilution of precision reduced with the increase number of the coastal stations is proved. The coastal station distributed model is proposed under the condition of using the least number of coastal stations. The simulation based...
The Smith-Purcell radiation in an open resonator, with an inverse trapezoid shaped grating, is presented in this paper by a two dimensional particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation. The simulation model supposes that a mono-energetic electron beam passes over the cylindrical diffraction grating with a strong axial magnetic field constraining the electrons to longitudinal motion. The simulation results indicate...
