The design of a fundamental rectangular-to-circular coaxial cavity input coupler for a low-THz gyro-traveling wave amplifier (TWA) is presented. Theoretical and numerical approaches to the design of the coaxial cavity input coupler are introduced. The design is optimized for operation between 360–384 GHz, achieving a transmission bandwidth of 7.5% (358–386 GHz). A comment on the manufacturability...
A multi-longitudinal-mode fiber laser sensor is proposed and experimentally demonstrated base on beat frequency demodulation. A novel laser cavity is formed only by a FBG, one section of erbium-doped fiber and a broadband reflector. The proposed laser sensor has ultra-stable beat signal due to self-phase matching in the laser cavity.
The UHF adjacent channel combiner is in a great demand because of the shortage of the frequency resource along with the development of the "China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB)" system and the "Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting (DTTB)" system. The high-selectivity band-pass filter is a must for the adjacent channel combiner. The characteristics of the frequency...
