The application of Time-Modulated Array (TMA) to radar is described. Some techniques based on TMA are compared, in terms of capabilities and hardware requirements. It is shown that they permit to keep the main lobe constant which is required for radar. Low sidelobes can be synthesized as well as interference suppression.
This paper presents an algorithm that enables anchor-less localization for pairs of static Impulse Radio - Ultra Wide Band (IR-UWB) devices in a room. The estimation progresses through a tree, as the most significant received paths are successively considered. Unlikely path parameters estimates are progressively rejected, relying on cross-correlation (i.e. with respect to predicted waveforms), as...
This paper presents two correction methods for vertical deformations of the receiving array belonging to HFSWR on buoys. The method inspired from Schelkunoff's representation is more robust to the deformation's uncertainty problem.
