In order to solve the problem of the node flip ambiguity generated by using classical least squares method in wireless sensor networks node localization, an iterative method based on triangular node blocks (IP-TNB) to process node flip ambiguity is proposed in this paper. At first, orthogonal projection detection method is adopted to detect an unknown node needed to be positioned. If the node would...
The approach combines both Chan's algorithm and another close-form algorithm to solve the aircraft multilateration surveillance equations. Results developed are applicable for the surveillance system as a final location solution or as an initial one for the iteration algorithm. However, the ambiguous problem occurs if there are only three TOA measurements. So, the approach will also focus on it and...
In this paper we develop a novel approach called the compensated HS (CHS) optical flow estimation algorithm to improve the precision of the large displacement optical flow field. For the lack of the higher order term in the optical flow constraint equation, the traditional optical flow estimation based on the first-order gradient always produce the optical flow field with obvious error in the case...
Human objects segmentation is one of key problems of visual analysis. In this paper, a novel touched human objects segmentation based on mean shift algorithm is proposed. At first, video images is preprocessed and foreground objects (BLOB) is obtained, model of human object is built according to statistical characteristics of body surface. Then, a few of points picked equally from BLOB is taken as...
A new idea of interval quartering algorithm was proposed to improve the insufficiency of the conventional singular spectrum analysis iterative interpolation on parameter selection (including the number K of principal component and the embedding dimension M), and the applied test and comparative analysis recovery was carried out to the missing data. The experimental results showed that the improved...
A biclustering algorithm for gene expressing data is presented. Based on the anti-monotones property of the quality of the data sets with their sizes, the algorithm can get the final biclusters by gradually adding columns and rows on the data sets. Experimental results show that our algorithm has higher processing speed and quality of clustering than other similar algorithms.
