We investigated phase matching effects on high-order harmonics (HH) generated by a few-cycle parametric source in the near-IR. This source is characterized by 1.5 mum central wavelength, almost transform limited pulse duration of about 20 fs and pulse energy up to 1.2 mJ. The harmonic structure is resolved only on a portion of the spectrum, due to the finite instrumental resolution. We observed a...
We generated high-order harmonics with self-phase-stabilized near-IR pulses produced by a parametric source. We observed a significant cutoff extension whit respect to 800-nm driving pulses at comparable peak intensity. This result represents a step forward the generation of single attosecond pulses with photon energies exceeding 100 eV.
This work reports on the generation, compression and temporal characterization of isolated attosecond pulses down to the single cycle regime. The frequency resolved optical gating for complete reconstruction of attosecond burst (FROG-CRAB) technique has been used to fully characterize the temporal envelope and phase of the attosecond pulse. We have generated XUV broadband continua by high-order harmonic...
