The article contains the diagnoses and characteristics of twenty
six vegetation units of a landscape reserve named Bąkowa Góra. It serves as
a commentary to the legend of the map representing the real vegetation of that
region in the working scale of 1:5000. The plant communities of Querco-Fagetea
and Vaccinio-Piceetea classes dominate that particular area whereas both Carici
remotae-Fraxinetum...
The paper contains characteristic of flora and plant communities of
„Potboru” reserve. The study were carried out in the 1979-1981 and again in the
1990-1991 years. There have been listed 315 plant species and following forest
communities: Tilio-Carpinetum typicum, T.-C. corydaletosum, Potentillo albae-Quercetum.
After ten years the indications of transformation of light oak forest into oak-hornbeam...
The investigations have been carried out in the Las Łagiewnicki
reserve, which is localized within the Łódź City. Within the area of 70 hectares
279 vascular plant species have been found. The statistical analysis against the
ecological characteristics of the plant species and anthropogenic transformation is
presented. Important part of plant species growing in the reserve belongs to
locally...
Taxonomic and ecological analysis of 21 diatom species was carried out. 13 of
them have not been recorded in Poland until the present study; they are: Amphora montana
Krasske, Navícula erifuga Lange-Bertalot, N. goeppertiana (Bleisch) H. L. Smith, N.joubaudii
Germain, N. libonensis Schoeman, N. oppugnata Hustedt, N. novaesiberica Lange-Bertalot,
N. recens (Lange-Bertalot) Lange-Bertalot, N. stroemii...
The Dobrzynka River is a left tributary of the 21.5 km long Ner River.
Benthos samples were collected at the town of Pabianice, where the river is affected by
communal-industrial sewage inflowing from a sanatorium at the village of Tuszynek, from
the southern part of Pabianice and the „Pamotex” Cotton Mill. On the basis of 15 samples
97 diatom taxa were identified (Tab. I). Table II presents 5...
The paper present a list of segetal flora taxons o f Bolimów, Bolimowska
Wieś and Kolonia Bolimowska Wieś as well as their general characterization. The segetal
flora of the researched area consists of 190 taxons. It also shows a great participation of
therophytes (125 taxons) and apophytes (106 taxons). 29 taxons have been numbered among
taxons in direct danger of extinction. The number and degree...
This study contains results of the taxonomic analysis of green algae from
the ponds of the Załęczański Landscape Park. Application of the Thumarek’s eutrophy
coefficient enabled to mark off oligotrophical and eutrophical ponds on the researched area.
In this paper a preliminary list and characterization of the synanthropic
flora found in the area of the Płock in 1996-1999, have been presented. The rich variety of
the synanthropic flora of this town is an effect of differentiation of habitats and man’s
economic activity. The synanthropic flora of Płock consists of 530 taxons. Among synanthropic
plants predominate apophytes (63,8%).
The paper presents the results of investigations on synanthropic flora,
carried out in 1996 and 1997; it contains a floristic list of 268 plant species found growing
in the Municipal Botanical Garden in Łódź. The synanthropic flora of this area is rich and
highly diverse mainly due to the variability of ecosystems.
In the whole area of Potentillo albae-Quercetum the communities: Galio-
Carpinelum, Tilio-Carpinetum, Calamagrostio-Quercetum and Potentillo albae-Quercetum have
appeared in the places of this association in the recent several decades.
Association Spirodelo-Salvinietum Slavnic of the class Lemnetea is described
in the water of three ponds. To gain knowledge on the hydroecological conditions of the
ponds physico-chemical investigations of their water in the period of peak plant vegetation
were carried out.
This article gives information about the Krośniewice environment
and also about various species of medicinal synanthropic plants, and their use in
phytotherapy.
Results of observing morphological diversity of P. boryanum and
P. duplex occurring in samples from Pond Okręt are presented. The same teratological
forms that were collected in the water body in 1968-1969 continued to inhabit it
also after over a dozen years, in 1984-1987.
The paper contains phytosociological characteristics of forest
communities and flora. In the nature reserve the following plant communities have
been distinguished: Riho nigri-Alnelum Sol.-Gorn. 1987, Circaeo-Alnetum Oberd. 1953,
Tilio-Carpinetum Tracz. 1962, Abietetum polonicum (Dziubaitowski 1928) Br.-Bl. et
Vlieg. 1939, Cladonio-Pinetum Juraszek 1927, Leucobryo-Pinetum Mat. (1962) 1973,
Pinus-Molinia...
In Central Poland wetlands are overgrown by 167 plant associations
and communities. The most interesting are: Eleocharitetum acicularis, Hippuridetum
vulgaris, Cladietum marisci, Caricelum davallianae, Eleocharitetum quinqueflorae,
Liparo-Schoenetum ferruginei.
