Texture and magnetic properties of double-roller meltspun FeSi6.5% ribbons were investigated. Thin ribbons show a strong {100}<0vw> texture in the as-quenched state which develops to a {100}<130> texture after annealing at 1200 o C. The magnetic losses and the coercivity decrease by a factor of 2-3 due to annealing; they are somewhat higher compared to single-roller ribbons.
