We study the photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of a two-dimensional electron system at the high magnetic field limit, where all electrons reside at the lowest Landau level (ν<2). Using a gated structure we tune the electron density from the dilute limit to a dense electron gas, and follow the changes in the emission spectrum.
