This paper presents vehicle black box using camera image and 24GHz Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar. Currently, almost all of vehicle black boxes are recording driving data using a single camera. They have some problems on low image quality and narrow viewing angle. In addition, it is difficult to record a clean image when the weather is in bad condition due to heavy rain, snow and...
We present the design, fabrication, and preliminary performance testing of a microfabricated integrated sampler-injector (MISI) intended for use in a micro gas chromatography (μGC) system for the analysis of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The MISI comprises a DRIE Si cavity with an integrated heater and temperature sensor that is packed with a graphitized carbon adsorbent and capped with a precision...
As technology advances, there is a demand for development of hard, solid lubricant coating. (Ti,Cr,Zr)N-MoS2 films were deposited on SKD11 tool steel substrate by co-deposition of MoS2 with (Ti,Cr,Zr)N using a D.C. magnetron sputtering process. The influence of the N2/Ar gas ratio, the amount of MoS2 in the films and the bias voltage on the mechanical and structural properties of the films were investigated.
