A circularly polarized monopole antenna with bandwidth enhancement is presented. The circularly polarized characteristic is achieved by a C-shaped monopole. To enhance the bandwidth of the antenna, a rectangle stub is adopted on the ground. Simulated and measured results show that the antenna can operate at 3.5 GHz band. The impedance bandwidth and axial ratio bandwidth are 44.4% and 29.1%, respectively...
Powered by renewable energy sources, cellular communication systems usually have different traffic loads and resource availabilities over time. It is helpful for two neighbouring systems to cooperate in resource sharing when one is excessive in one resource (e.g., spectrum), while the other is sufficient in another resource (e.g., energy). In this paper, we propose a joint energy and spectrum sharing...
Powered by renewable energy sources, cellular communication systems usually have different wireless traffic loads and available resources over time. To match their traffics, it is beneficial for two neighboring systems to cooperate in resource sharing when one is excessive in one resource (e.g., spectrum), while the other is sufficient in another (e.g., energy). In this paper, we propose a joint energy...
With recent advances in mobile computing technologies, mobile devices can now render 3D objects realistically. Many users of these devices such as tourists, mixed-reality gamers, and rescue officers, need real-time retrieval of 3D objects over a wireless network. Due to bandwidth and latency restrictions in mobile settings, efficient continuous retrieval of 3D objects remains a challenge. In this...
