For insulation diagnosis and condition assessment in partial discharge (PD) measurement of the high voltage power apparatuses, one of the major tasks may be the PD signal (PDs) identification, the PDs origin separation and the estimation of condition of the insulation. The conventional phase-based statistic analysis of PDs, which emphasizes the detection of PDs amplitudes, is often not enough to carry...
For voltage source inverter based 50 Hz or 60 Hz power supplies, it is conventionally assumed that double-loop control with an inner current-loop performs better than single-loop methods. However, this paper analyzes the role of the inner current-loop in double-loop digital control of 400 Hz inverter under low switching frequency condition. The results show that the inclusion of an inner current-loop...
A 1 times 8 monopulse microstrip patch antenna array in Ka-band has been proposed. The radiating element is a modified circular patch antenna, designed for getting circular polarization. The feed network is composed of six Wilkinson power dividers, a 3 dB hybrid, and a microstrip to waveguide transition. Both the array and the feed network are placed on the same layer.
