Soft magnetic films for Magnetic recording head core materials with high saturation magnetic flux density and/or high resistivity prepared by electroplating or electroless-plating were introduced. Especially, for mainly electroplated CoNiFe based films, electroplated NiFe and NiFeP based films, and electroless-plated NiFeB and CoFeB based films developed by us, the magnetic properties were summarized.
