Recently, the exchange bias (EB) phenomenon in the ferromagnet/antiferromagnet (FM/AFM) bilayer and its inborn instability effect, i.e., training effect [1], have attracted much attention for its great technological importance in spintronic devices. Usually, the study of training effect is performed by continuously recording the exchange field (HE) and the coercivity (HC) after measuring an entire...
The PANDA experiment at the new FAIR facility in Darmstadt, Germany, will be investigating unresolved questions of non-perturbative QCD. The experiment is designed to make use of internal targets in the p storage ring HESR (design luminosity: 2 . 1032 cm-2 s-1, pp-annihilation rate: 2 . 107 s-1), requiring continuous operation of all detectors. One option for its central tracking unit is a Time Projection...
We report the effect of V/III ratio and nanowire diameter on the crystal structure and optical properties of InP nanowires. Time -resolved photoluminescence studies have revealed that wurtzite nanowires show longer carrier lifetimes than zinc-blende ones.
GaAs and InP based nanowires were grown epitaxially on GaAs or InP (111)B substrates by MOCVD via VLS mechanism. In this paper, I will give an overview of nanowire research activities in our group.
So far, linear polypropylene (PP) foam is the most extensively investigated ferroelectret. In the present studies, cross-linked PP (XPP) foam sheets are modified by a hot-press process, and then corona charged to be piezoelectric. Thereafter their piezoelectric activities are investigated.
