For ESR spectroscopy covering sub THz to THz region, we have developed a frequency-step tunable Gyrotron FU II as a radiation source. A pulse magnet is used for high field ESR spectroscopy. The pulse width is around 50 ms. In order to cover this pulse width, the gyrotron can operate during more than 100 ms in pulse length.
Gyrotron FU CW Series which consists of 9 gyrotrons, has been designed and constructed as high power THz radiation sources and completed operational tests successfully in the Research Center for Development of Far Infrared Region, University of Fukui (FIR FU). The gyrotron series covers wide frequency range in sub-THz to THz region. Gyrotrons included in the series can operate in continuous wave (CW)...
The gyrotrons developed at Fukui University (''Gyrotron FU series'') are high-frequency, medium-power devices, covering broad frequency bands in the millimeter and submillimeter wavelength regions. Currently, the ''Gyrotron FU series'' consists of eight gyrotrons. Distinguishing features of these devices are described: Frequency tunability from 38 to 889GHz; frequency and amplitude modulation of generated...
