In this paper, a novel microstrip antenna using interdigital capacitor is proposed. The DGS technology is used to further reduce the size of the antenna. The size of the improved antenna is 24% of traditional rectangular microstrip antenna, and the antenna has frequency range 2.4–2.52 GHz with maximum gain of 2.35 dB, meet the requirement for ISM band applications, realize the miniaturization design.
An H-shape dielectric resonator antenna with U-slot on the patch is presented in this paper, the H-shape dielectric resonator is mounted on the vertical ground plane edge. The U-slot is etched on the patch antenna to obtain the isolation from WLAN frequency (5.125 GHz– 5.825 GHz). The frequency bands for S11 ≤ −10 dB are from 3.61 GHz to 4.80 GHz and from 6.05 GHz to 9.56 GHz, respectively. The bandwidths...
Various types of scan blindness are analyzed in a single-polarized tapered-slot phased array with triangular lattice arrangement, and a scan blindness removal strategy is proposed. In the presented analysis, two types of scan blindness are observed which have not been previously reported. First, a special case of parallel plate cavity resonance is demonstrated to cause scan blindness at a fixed frequency...
