The electron emitter with a new structure for surface-conduction electron-emitter is proposed in this paper. With this new electron emitter structure, the electro-forming position of the nano-scale fissure can be controlled, and this will help to improve the uniformity of surfaceconduction electron emitter. The effectiveness was proved experimentally.
In order to analyze the electron emission performance of SCE, the electric field distribution and electron trajectory are studied by simulation analysis with CST particle studio. Based on the simulation investigation, a SCE structure with better electron emission performance is obtained.
