The brain shape is deformed regionally by kinds of cerebral diseases and the degree of progress. Therefore quantitative evaluation of the deformation using MR images is effective for diagnosis of cerebral diseases. To evaluate the cerebral deformation, almost conventional methods are based on normalization of the brain shape which deforms the evaluating brain into the standardized brain. Because the...
The present paper develops a model of "active" fingertip forces of a human index finger that allows the maximum fingertip force to be calculated for any specified position of the finger. The proposed model extends a passive fingertip force model by considering the mobility of the fingertip in terms of its deformation. The model selects the smaller force of the following two forces: the maximum...
Magnetic hysteresis and Barkhausen noise for deformed micro magnetic clusters were simulated by pseudo-nonequilibrial Monte Carlo method. The magnetic hysteresis curve showed a little dip around zero magnetic fields. Barkhausen noise on the dip was stronger than ordinal Barkhausen noise around coercive force. The result suggests a new measurement to reveal deformation of micro magnetic clusters
