Graphene oxide nanosheets (GO) were dispersed and crosslinked with a water soluble polymer, namely poly(allylamine hydrochloride) (PAH) with high amine density, to prepared a novel PAH-GO composite, which was used for removing Cu(II) ions from aqueous solutions.
