The cutoff wavelength of dominant mode in unilateral finline is analyzed by finite element method. The cutoff wavelength can be changed by adjusting the thickness of metallic fins and dielectric constant of dielectric substrate. Numerical results provide in this paper have important values in practical applications.
Finite element method is introduced to analyze the transmission characteristics of depressed trapezoidal-ridge waveguide in this paper, solves the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode, bandwidth and field patterns of the typical model size, discussions the influence of the trapezoidal-ridge size on the transmission characteristics. Some numerical results and figures are presented.
Transmission characteristics of depressed-ridge waveguide are analyzed by the finite element method. Design data of cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode and single-mode bandwidth for different ridge dimensions are presented in tabulated forms. Field patterns of the dominant mode and the first higher-order TE mode are also illustrated. Numerical results are obtained, which are useful in the design...
The finite element method is introduced to analyze the transmission characteristics of upswept-ridge waveguide, variations of the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode and single-mode bandwidth with the ridge dimensions for different values are calculated, field patterns of the dominant mode and the first higher-order TE mode are also illustrated. Numerical results in this article provide an extension...
Finite element method is introduced to analyze the transmission of multi-ridge waveguide, solves the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode and field pattern of the typical model size in double ridge waveguides, triple ridge waveguides and quintupling ridge waveguides, analyzes the changes of the transmission by changed the multiple of ridges, the ridge width, the ridge height and the distance between...
