Length–weight (LWR) relationships were estimated for nine fish species collected in the Wujiang River located near the city of Chongqing, China. The value of the exponent ‘b’ in the LWR was between 2.594 and 3.528, which shows that the species exhibit an allometric growth pattern. All relationships between total length (TL) and body weight (BW) were linear (in all cases: r2 > 0.913).
