The proposes of this paper are to investigate the properties and methods of fuzzy time series. It starts off with introducing the fuzzy time series analysis proposed by Q. Song and B.S. Chissom. Then, the theory structure, calculation, forecasting procedure and application of fuzzy time series are characterized from a comparison between traditional time series and fuzzy time series.
In this paper,we summarize some Archimedean properties and characterize some new Archimedean properties of triangular norms on ([0, 1], les). An open problem on pseudo-Archimedean t-norms, recently posed by E.P. Klement [Fuzzy Sets and Systems 145 (2004) p473], is discussed.
In recent years, fuzzy set theory has been successfully used in various applications. A typical application area for using fuzzy techniques is to restore images corrupted by impulse noise. In this paper, we present a new framework of removing impulse noise. The most important points is that the types of images are estimated by using the FINDRM and the efficient detail preserving approach (EDPA). When...
In this presented note, t-norms (triangular norms) are studied in the general setting of bounded partially ordered sets(posets). The sets of idempotent elements, zero divisors and nilpotent elements associated to a t-norm are introduced and related to each other. The Archimedean property of t-norms is discussed, in particular its relationship to the diagonal inequality.
Fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering algorithm has been widely used in automated image segmentation. However, the standard FCM algorithm is sensitive to noise because of taking no into account the gray and spatial information of pixel. The paper proposes an improved FCM algorithm for image segmentation. We use the degree of gray similarity and distribution statistics of the neighbor pixels to form a new...
