The aim of this note is to study single machine scheduling problems with resource dependent release times. Each job starts as soon as it is released and release cost will be generated if its actual release time deviates from the initial release time. The objective is determining a sequence of jobs in addition to their release times concurrently, in order that weighted release cost, makespan and total...
According to the off-line handwritten Chinese characters, a classification and recognition method which is combined by pruning FSVM coarse classification and SVM fine classification is proposed in this text. First cut no value minor to reduce the number of support vector machines, and then determine the coarse classification through fuzzy membership when the coarse classification is done. In fine...
Since Volker Strassen proposed a recursive matrix multiplication algorithm reducing the time complexity to n2.81 in 1968, many scholars have done a lot of research on this basis. In recent years, researchers have proposed using computer algorithms to solve fast matrix multiplication problem. They have found Strassen's algorithm or other algorithms that have the same time complexity as Strassen algorithm...
The scale-rate is presented as a novel feature of local complexity in digital images. The scale-rate is experimentally proved to be an important feature of image edge areas. Multi-feature edge extraction is achieved with the scale-rate and image intensity discontinuity. Experimental results show that exploiting the scale-rate feature improves the performance of edge extraction.
