In the paper the clay minerals of halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) were used as adsorbent to remove cationic dye, methyl violet (MV), from aqueous solution. The effects of contact time, initial concentration, adsorbent dose, initial pH, temperature and ionic strength were investigated.
