The influence of a 12 T high static magnetic field on microstructures of the proeutectic Cu dendrites in the diamagnetic Cu-Ag alloy has been investigated. Our experimental results show that the length of the Cu dendrites arm is decreased by 10 % and the dendrite arm spacing is increased when the Cu-25 %Ag alloys are solidified in a 12 T static magnetic field.
