Read only memories (ROMs) serve as an important non-volatile memory in various hardware systems to store predefined data and programs. Its pre-determined layout pattern makes unauthorized data extraction through chip-level reverse engineering easy to carry out. This paper proposes a new transformable via-programming ROM design to address the vulnerability to reverse energy attacks. Irreversible via...
A real-time sausage appearance defect inspection system is presented in this paper. The general hardware and software structure is presented and a model method for sausage defect detection is proposed. This inspection system gives consistent and repeatable satisfactory results under real industrial conditions with sufficient speed.
Based on the different brightness feature of the glue-line and gluing surface, we propose a new method to analyze the glue-line with the help of layered algorithm. The method is suit for different type of gear-box, and the impact of gear-box location inaccuracy is relatively small. The experiment shows that the method is feasible and the quality of glue-line can be accurately inspected.
