Recently, by replacing the parallel LC “resonator” in Chua's circuit with a lossless transmission line that is terminated by a short circuit, a nonlinear transmission line oscillator is proposed and is named as a “time-delayed Chua's circuit.” In a transmission line oscillator, a linear wave travels along a piece of the transmission line and interacts with terminating electrical components, i.e.,...
In this paper, for the first time, chaos in fractional-order neutral delay differential equation (NDDE) is discussed. Chaos in fractional-order neutral delay differential equation is illustrated by presenting its waveform graphs, states diagrams and bifurcation graphs. Also the investigating result shows that the chaos in such fractional order neutral delay differential equation can be synchronized...
In this paper, we considered a delayed differential equation modeling two-neuron system with both inertial terms and time delay. By analyzing the distribution of the eigenvalues of the corresponding transcendental characteristic equation of its linearized equation, local stability criteria are derived for various model parameters and time delay.
A delayed differential equation modeling a single neuron with time delay and external exciting is considered in this paper. The method to study Hopf bifurcation and periodic solution is researched by using the closed form with the aid of the center manifold and averaging theorem.
