In this paper, a circularly polarized antenna is proposed for satellite communication system. Commercially available Finite Integration Technique (FIT) based software Computer Simulation Technology (CST) microwave studio and finite element method solver based High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS) have been used in this analysis. The proposed antenna achieved 3dB axial ratio of 30 MHz with −10dB...
In this paper, a circularly polarized antenna is presented for small satellite communication. The proposed antenna is assimilated with an octagonal shape radiator with rectangular cut-outs on opposite edges. The proposed antenna is fed by a coaxial pin. The antenna shows measured −10dB impedance bandwidth of 610 MHz (7.07–7.68 GHz) with 3dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 260 MHz (7.35–7.61 GHz).
In this paper, an inverted S-shaped multi frequency patch antenna is proposed for X-band applications. The antenna encompasses of two rectangular slots on patch, two elliptical slots on the ground plane and its exciting by a 50 Ω probe feed technique. By employing two rectangular slots which change the rectangular patch as opposite S shaped patch antenna operating in triple resonance frequency is...
A single feed, compact, new shaped, dual band microstrip patch antenna has presented in this paper. Here three equilateral triangular slots are introduced in the three edges of the patch and a small feed line has used another edge of the patch to obtain the dual band. The antenna has a condensed structure where patch dimension is about 8.5mm by 7.96mm by 1.905mm leading to good bandwidths covering...
In this paper a compact single feed dual frequency microstrip patch antenna has proposed. Triangular slots are introduced in the three edges of the patch and a small feed line has used another edge of the patch to obtain the dual frequency. The antenna has a condensed structure where patch dimension is about 8.5X7.96X1.905mm3 leading to good bandwidths covering 576 MHz and 540MHz. Across the operating...
