A simple force-based mesh division approach for the bridge is proposed in this paper. This method finds point position using force equilibrium, distance function and changes the topology by the Delaunay triangulation. The feasibility and accuracy of the proposed approach are confirmed using the simulation experiment of the bridge injury detection and the correct rate increases by 9.4%.
With the enlargement of sizes of networks, scale-free property of networks is present. However, scale-free networks are fragile. If the nodes with most degree are attacked, the whole network will be devastated. This paper proposed an algorithm to optimize the topology of scale-free networks with redundant edges. Adjacent networks of key nodes will be linked as a rotary and junction structure, to ensure...
Opportunistic routing is a new design trend of wireless routing, which can dramatically improve the end-to-end throughput over traditional routing by judiciously utilizing the broadcasting nature of wireless network. However, the global scheduling scheme it adopts restricts its application in large-scale wireless network, due to the big waste of the end-to-end transmission latency and the computation...
How to efficiently use the spectrum resource to provide quality-of-service (QoS) support is a challenging task for wireless communication systems. In this paper, a resource reservation-based on-demand spectrum assignment and routing protocol is proposed to provide QoS support for IEEE 802.11-based multiradio multi-channel ad-hoc networks. Our work distinguishes from prior ones in that we don't treat...
This paper analyzes the basic and RTS/CTS and fragment MAC access mechanism of IEEE802.11 DCF (distribution coordination function), and puts forward the model of wireless distributed measurement system (WDMS). It analyzes the elements that affect system real-time communication. It sets up the simulation network scenario of real-time communication through software, then simulates to research the MAC...
Release of IEEE1588 improves the clock synchronization accuracy greatly, which makes sensors, actuators and other terminals share unique time reference, and assures the clock synchronization quality of different terminals. This paper researches on clock synchronization of wireless distributed measurement system based on IEEE1588 standard. A typical network topology of IEEE1588 standard is provided...
Capacity limitation is one of the fundamental issues in wireless mesh networks. The aggregate capacity can be increased by equipping each mesh router with multiple radios tuned into distinct frequency channels. However, most past research efforts that attempt to exploit multiple channels assume orthogonal channels of fixed pre-determined width, which prohibits the further effective use of spectrum...
The design and development of future ground-space integrated networks is one of the hot issues in space technology nowadays because of the long-link delay, high bit-error-rate, asymmetric bandwidth, intermittent links compare with the terrestrial networks. The focus of this paper is to design topology for this hybrid networks with space segments, select appropriate protocols for it and analyze its...
Strategic, operational and tactical information, combat identification and blue-force-tracking provided by advanced "command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance" distributed system-of-systems improve the quality of decision-makers' situation awareness (SA). Such SA improvements increase the pace at which decision making can be done while maintaining...
