Delayed neutrons (DN) play an important role in nuclear reactor physics. Innovative critical reactor studies bring to light the need of new DN yields data. For the thorium fuel cycle DN data for 232Th is needed. In the literature, significant discrepancies were observed for energies below 4MeV and data are dispersed around 14MeV. Therefore DN absolute yields from 232Th fission have been determined...
ANITA (Atmospheric-like Neutrons from thIck Target), a new neutron facility for accelerated testing of components and systems for single event effects, has been put into operation at The Svedberg Laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden. Results of beam characterization measurements are reported.
