In this paper, two decoders with low decoding complexity for a MIMO system with finite bit feedback channel are proposed. Theoretical analysis on performance and simulations show that the loses of performance comparing to the ML-decoder are acceptable.
A MIMO system with finite-bit feedback based on fixed constellations is considered. For this system, an optimal operating system with maximum-likehood (ML)-decoding is demonstrated, and furthermore, to reduce encoding complexity, an asymptotic optimal operating system is also proposed. Theoretical analysis and simulations show that our encoding method has much less complexity than existing encoding...
Space time coding for a multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) system with finite-bit feedback and maximum-likehood (ML)-decoding is considered. Based on the analysis of union bound of error probability of the system, it is shown that designing the system with good performance can be divided into the following three steps: (1) efficiently packing finite points into a dynamic ellipsoid in a finite...
Space-time coding for a multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) system with feedback and maximum-likelihood (ML)-decoding is considered. In the case that complete feedback from the receiver to the transmitter is available, the optimal structure of the codes is shown to have the form cudagger, where c is a T-dimensional complex vector (T is a time delay), and u is a unit-norm eigenvector corresponding...
