Colocated $4\times 4$ multiple-input multiple-output measurements at 2.55 and 24 GHz are presented for two university buildings consisting of classrooms and offices. Link gain in hallways and connected laboratories looks similar at the two frequencies when the effect of lower effective receive antenna aperture with increasing frequency is removed. Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation through a wall...
The demand for increased bandwidth to support modern mobile wireless services has pushed the community to explore higher carrier frequencies where spectrum is more readily available. However, relatively few studies have focused attention on bands such as 24 GHz that may support non-line-of-sight communication. This paper provides experimental measurements of multi-antenna, wideband propagation channels...
A reconfigurable chamber for over the air testing of wireless devices has recently been introduced, with potential performance examined through simulation. This paper reports an experimental prototype of such a chamber. Measurements using a circular array explore the angular characteristics of the multipath fields that can be synthesized in the chamber.
