Theoretical studies of the growth rate in a Cherenkov Free-Electron Laser with two beams are presented in this paper. The spatial growth rate is derived based on the dispersion equation with electron beams at the operating point and is calculated numerically. The results show that the introduction of the second beam significantly improve the growth rate.
