This paper presents a proposal for solving linear programming problems whose technological parameters are defined by multiple experts using Interval Type-2 Fuzzy numbers. To reduce the complexity of solving this kind of problems, we propose to use the centroids of the technological parameters and then solve the resultant interval optimization problem. We also compare the results of our proposal to...
This paper presents some technical corrections to the paper entitled “Solving Fuzzy Linear Programming Problems with Interval Type-2 RHS” presented at the Systems, Man and Cybernetics 2008 conference at San Antonio - TX. Some clarifications about the proposed method, a full explanation of its behavior, and two application examples are presented to illustrate its results.
This paper presents some definitions about of Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Constraints regarding Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Linear Programming models (IT2 FLP) such as the Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Feasible Region (IT2 FFR) and the concept of an Interval Type-2 Fuzzy Constraint (IT2 FC). In this proposal, a LP problem with uncertain right hand side parameters treated as Interval Type-2 Fuzzy sets is theoretically...
This paper presents an iterative algorithm to find optimal solutions for fuzzy linear programming problems. By means of α-cuts and the cumulative membership function, a problem with nonlinear left and linear right-hand side parameters is solved. The proposed method is based on crisp optimization principles and it is capable to find solutions of its starting point.
