Based on analyzing different kinds of routing protocols' characteristics, this paper presents a new routing protocol, RPB, which combines the advantage of PEGASIS and GAF. According to the simulation results, compared with LEACH, PEGASIS and EEPB protocols, RPB works more outstanding in energy saving. This protocol also distributed averagely when the nodes died more than a half.
XBRL (extensible Business Reporting Language) is an XML based standard for electronic data exchange and communication of business financial documents and reports among government bodies, regulators, financial institutions and reporting entities. In this paper, we analyze the XBRL model from a perspective of data management to show why XBRL has created a new emerging vertical domain of database applications...
Research of self-similarity has been the focus of flow prediction due to the complexity of self-similar traffic, but the LRD (long range dependence) traffic has the disadvantages of the high modeling algorithm complexity and poor precision. Therefore we tried to propose a way that can make the LRD traffic change to SRD (short range dependence) which is more simple than LRD in the field of modeling...
In this paper, the self-similarity characteristic of network traffic and its influence on the queuing performance are studied. The network simulator OPNET is applied to build a local wired experimental network and a campus wireless network. The queuing performance of these two kinds of network is analyzed based on the M/P/1 queuing model. The simulation results demonstrate the influence of traffic...
