In this letter, a box-section bandpass filter consisting of hybrid and dual-mode resonators at X-band is presented. Compared with the conventional even-odd mode method, the dual-mode resonator in the proposed filter is equivalent to separate and resonators. A generalized synthesis approach is firstly proposed with extensive discussions on designing asynchronously tuned...
This paper presents the design of a compact dual mode dual-band microstrip filter. A dual mode resonator is proposed based on the concept of SIR. The dual band filter can support CDMA and WiFi simultaneously. The measured results show that insertion loss are 0.62 dB and 1.2 dB at 0.85GHz and 2.46GHz respectively which are in excellent agreement with simulation.
