In this paper, the channelized sideband distortion suppression model was implemented successfully on Virtex 6 FPGA. The hardware implementation was achieved through envelope solution, FIR filter, phase shift and memory effect module. The satisfactory results show that the FPGA implementation method is a promising candidate for future 5G application because of the method's low-cost and low-complexity.
This paper proposes a new application of power amplifiers linearization technology for concurrent Dual-band differing in power. A Broadband power amplifier is used to verify proposed application. The dual 20MHz band spacing 200MHz are test at the carrier frequency of 2.3GHz and 2.5GHz. And the dual-band's power have more than 10dB difference. When the difference is 15dB, the simplified model can achieve...
This paper proposes a new form of polynomial model for concurrent dual-band digital predistortion. Different with usual 2D-DPD models, the new model introduces (x1(n-m) + x2(n-m))and (x1(n-m) - x2(n-m))two terms, avoids (x1(n-m) + x2(n-m)j term to make the polynomial form simplified. A High efficiency Broadband GaN HEMT power amplifier is used to verify the model. The dual 20MHz band spacing 140MHz...
A nonlinear filter-based Volterra model with low complexity is proposed for modeling and characterizing wideband power amplifiers. This model has a similar form of a simplified second-order dynamic deviation reduction (DDR)-based Volterra model but without complex square root calculations and high order terms, which are replaced by a first-order nonlinear filter. The model parameters with smaller...
