We demonstrate 700-W fundamental mode beam from Yb-doped fiber laser operating at 1092 nm. Coiling 20-mum diameter and 0.06 NA core fiber into 15-cm diameter spool eliminates higher-order modes through distributed mode filtering
Summary form only given. We report on the dependence of the lasing thresholds of two competing modes at 620 nm and 650 nm for sulforhodamine 640 at 2.5/spl times/10/sup -2/ M on density of scattering particles. The spectral measurements of the emission were performed in backscattering arrangement. The sample solutions were pumped by 3-ns 532-nm laser pulses.
