In this paper, we report the first example of using a PVDF-PAA block copolymer as novel additive for the modification of PVDF membranes. The blending PVDF-PAA has been shown to significantly change the morphologies and properties of the PVDF membrane. The water permeability and copper ions adsorption experiments showed interesting pH-responsive properties of the PVDF-PAA/PVDF blended membranes.
