The measurement results for the intermodulation effect and the amplitude-frequency effect of two power BAW resonators having the anti-parallel connection are presented. A significant reduction of the 2f component in the reflected power with respect to the parallel connection has been observed. A similar result can be reported for the anti-series connection. Behavioral models for these connections...
The linear artificial transmission line model developed in 1986 by Morris and Hutchens is extended for nonlinear piezoelectric materials. Two new physical circuit models are proposed, one of them taking into account a mechanical nonlinearity while the other considers an electrical nonlinearity. Both nonlinearities are described by third degree polynomials. The measurements of the amplitude-frequency...
Some measurement results of nonlinear effects of the AlN power BAW resonators are presented in this paper. Both the amplitude-frequency effect and the intermodulation effect have been measured. Agreeing with the data presented in the literature, these measurements emphasize the differences between square and apodized resonators.
