A novel F-doped vanadia/titania catalyst has been developed. The catalytic activity of NO removal over this catalyst was significantly promoted by F-doping. Analysis by EPR showed that F-doping facilitated the formation of V4+ and superoxide ions, and increased the affinity to NO. These made the reaction be progressed through Fast SCR reaction and resulted in the promotion of the NO removal efficiency.
In this study ZSM-5-type zeolite was synthesized by sol-gel and Cu-(Ce)-ZSM-5 catalysts were prepared by ion-exchange. The prepared catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPD, ICP-AES, FTIR and tested in the removal of NO in the presence of oxygen.
