In this paper, we propose to generalize the coding schemes first proposed by Kozic & al to high spectral efficient modulation schemes. To obtain high performing coding schemes, we use a high dimensional modulo-MAP mapping process similar to the low-density generator-matrix codes (LDGM) introduced by Kozic & al. The main difference with their work is that we use an encoding and decoding process...
Recently, some works have shown that it was possible to obtain quite good BER performances over AWGN channels with chaotic systems. This paper proposes new insights for the chaos-coded modulation schemes originally proposed by S. Kozic et al. A detailed study of the distance spectrum of such schemes is proposed and an approximation of its distribution by means of Gaussian mixtures is given.
The design of expectation-maximisation (EM)-based turbo receivers for low-density parity-check-coded multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems with the presence of carrier-frequency offset (CFO) is studied. First, starting from the maximum-likelihood principle, a novel EM-based CFO estimator for MIMO-OFDM systems is devised. This estimator iteratively...
