We implemented a flexible transmission system operating at adjustable data rate and fixed bandwidth, baudrate, constellation and overhead using probabilistic shaping. We demonstrated in a transmission experiment up to 15% capacity and 43% reach increase versus 200 Gbit/s 16-QAM.
We present a transmission experiment over transoceanic distance using multi-level modulation format and an error correcting code optimized for 200 Gb/s channel rate. A record capacity is obtained using 155 channels over C+L bands.
We demonstrate 1-Tbit/s dual-carrier dual-polarization 64QAM transmission at 64Gbaud over 320km of standard single-mode fiber with EDFAs only. Error free performance is validated by sFEC decoding of the received data after fiber transmission.
