The proposed tag antenna for identification of the CD or DVD discs was presented. It performs a longer read range and can be adjusted of the dimensions of the matching section in the tag antenna for optimizing direct match with internal impedance of IC chip by comparing with the double meander-type or ring-type antenna design. Measured data is shown that agreed with the simulated result.
