The massive penetration of electric vehicles may lead to strong grid impacts, especially on the distribution grid. The Solar Mobility concept aims to resolve this situation using photovoltaic systems for recharging the vehicles. Key element for solar mobility is the energy management system, which minimizes the grid impact and maximizes the solar coverage during charging process. This paper presents...
This article deals with modeling the problem of charging a set of electric vehicles from photovoltaic power. This optimization problem is modeled through a specific resource constraint problem denoted “Maximum Variable Resource Allocation Problem” (MVRAP). The complexity of this problem is demonstrated. A MTLP formulation of this problem is given. Some experimental results are also discussed.
