We demonstrate CW dual wavelength switching in an Ytterbium doped coupled cavity fiber laser by changing the direction and power of the pump. Slope efficiencies of > 70% and output power of > 100W have been achieved.
We experimentally demonstrate cavity phase matching for the first time using a sheet optical parametric oscillator. It presents unique features such as high power capability, high slope efficiency, single-longitudinal-mode oscillation and narrow linewidth.
In the framework of developing defect-based life models (i.e. the life model of partial discharge-induced damage growth from a micro-void in polymer matrix), ageing tests were performed on PE layered specimens with artificial cavities under constant gas pressure and constant gas volume conditions, respectively. Time behavior of the discharge repetition rate and amplitude were recorded and compared...
Partial Discharge (PD) tests are carried out in a narrow dielectric gap between spherical electrodes at arbitrary voltage stimulus by a time-resolved measurement system. The usual AC voltage sinusoidal waveform application is compared with a new method based on repetitive half-sine voltage pulses, with either alternating or unipolar polarity. The half-sine pulse with duration T1 is followed by a pause...
The energy output characteristics, temporal profile and spectral characteristics of xenon-lamp pumped dye (PM580) laser with different molar concentrations were investigated in this paper. The experimental setup adopts the ordinary industrial products without special design. Output energies have been achieved with energy conversion efficiency and slope efficiency of almost 0.336% and 0.36%.
